Bison Band and The Black Snake People

Here at Kettle creek on this coming pink moon the black snake finally crawls from his burrow in the centuries old oak tree spirit that graces our den site.  The wind spirits and frost and rain jesters dance around the unplanted fields, as the vegetable (around 60 lbs of lettuce, 1000 tomato transplants, and 100's of other herb and veggies transplants) spirits float warmly inside the greenhouse. The "weeds" and "pests" begin their dance of competitivity within this sphere.  Thanks you four-legs and one-legs for bringing us food, thank you elemental spirits for bringing the coming warmth. The bison await the coming year of real labor, the labor it takes to achieve our birthright, and tribe of humans and an real understanding between us and our local environment. Stay tuned for the new Kettle Creek web page, plus a reminder we still need 5 dedicated people willing to make this community a success, come grow and hunt your own food, build your own dwelling, and "work" and "suffer" until you find the balance between what your mind thinks it can endure and what your righteous human body and rational mind can truly overcome.

Welcome spring.
