Although our little band has not grown in size, we have grown in spirit and strength of purpose. We would like to make some things clear.
The Bison are not hunter-gatherers (although we respect that way of making a living). The Bison are not new-age shamans (shamanism is not animism). The Bison are not lazy parasites (we choose to work for those we love (tribesman)). The Bison are not young idealists (we are humans trying to enact the story of our species). The Bison are not Luddites (technology on a tribal scale is very appropriate).
The Bison are recovering our continuum, our evolutionary heritage, and our true freedom.
So, we hope those who want to relearn what being human, and a small part of the community of life is like. Come spend some time with us, either here in LS (Nov-April) or in N. Cal (April-Nov).
